Samosas
These stuffed pastries are a traditional Indian favourite.Lamb meat and spices are cooked together to create a mouthwatering filling for the easy to make dough. The recipe may feel complex but it is actually simple. Enjoy!!
Ingredients
- 2 cups of flour
- half spoonful of salt
- 2 table spoon of butter
- half cup of water
- 1 quater oil for deep frying
- 1 small onion chopped
- 2 cloves garlic chopped
- 2 green chile pepper chopped
- 1 teaspoon ground masala
- 1 1/2 table spoon lemon juice
Slow Cooked Meat Stew Chilly
This hearty slow cooker chilly is trully a snap to prepare. After browning the meat and stiring in the spices to give them a slightly flavour, you simply toast everything into a slow cooker and let the mixture simmer everyday. Garnish with sour cream, chopped fresh pasley, and chopped red onion.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 table spoon oil
- half spoonful of salt
- 3/4 pound cubed beef stew meat
- half cup of water
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 small onion chopped
- 2 table spoon all-purpose flour
- 2 cloves garlic or more to taste
- 1 can kidney beans rinsed and drained
- 1/4 cup fresh chopped parsley
Ugali1
Ugali is a common dish in most of our homes. Cooking it is easy and can be served with vegetables, meat, soup or even fish.
Ingreduents
- I cup maize flour
- 2 cups of water
Cooking Instructions
- Boil water until it bubbles. The water should be very hot. This ensures the ugali will cook perfectly.
- Add a cup full of flour in the water.Let it cook a few seconds untill water starts to cover the flour.
- Use a wooden spoon to quickly start mixing the flour and water.
- Add a handful of flour and continue to mix the water and flour, it will start to come together.

Kenyan Kebabs are a speciality of my country, and are the perfect savoury mid-morning or late evening snack, along with a cup of Kenyan tea.They are easy to prepare and tastes absolutely amazing, especially when served with some sort of termarind sauce to deep into.
