It is one of the biggest grazers with very protective attitude since they mostly live in groups

It has heavy weight with sharp hearing and poor eyesight

It is the second largest carnivore which mostly feeds on the tree

The animals above are currently known as the big 5 in Kenya because of the following reasons:

  • They have large sizes than other wild animals in Kenya
  • They were the most difficult animals to hunt
  • They are the most dangerous and harmful animals in Kenya

These animals are the common tourist attraction wild in Kenya and also in Africa. They are also known for their survival during harsh dry seasons when there is scarcity in pasture and food.
