Strawberry Cake Recipe

Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line two 9-inch round cake pans.
In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
In another bowl, beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Mix in the vanilla extract and fresh pureed strawberries until combined.
Gradually add the dry ingredients, alternating with the milk, until smooth.
Pour the batter evenly into the prepared pans and smooth the tops.
Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Let the cakes cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
For the Strawberry Buttercream Frosting:
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
4 cups powdered sugar
2 tbsp fresh pureed strawberries
1 tsp vanilla extract
Beat the butter until smooth and creamy.
Gradually add powdered sugar, beating until fluffy.
Mix in the fresh strawberry puree and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
Frost the cooled cake layers, covering the top and sides evenly.
