Floral Cake Recipe

Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line two 8-inch round cake pans.
In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
In another bowl, beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla and rose water.
Gradually add the dry ingredients, alternating with buttermilk, until smooth.
Pour the batter evenly into the prepared pans and smooth the tops.
Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Let the cakes cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
For the Floral Frosting & Decoration:
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
4 cups powdered sugar
2 tbsp milk
1 tsp rose water
Edible flowers (roses, pansies, violets, etc.)
Optional: Gold leaf for decoration
Beat the butter until creamy, then gradually add powdered sugar.
Add milk and rose water, beating until light and fluffy.
Frost the cooled cake layers, smoothing the sides and top evenly.
Decorate with edible flowers and optional gold leaf for an elegant finish.
