Chocolate Cake Recipe

Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line two 9-inch round cake pans.
In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
In another bowl, beat the sugar and eggs until light and fluffy.
Gradually add the milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract, and mix until smooth.
Slowly add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients and mix until combined.
Pour the batter evenly into the prepared pans and smooth the tops.
Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Let the cakes cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
For the Chocolate Frosting:
1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
2 cups powdered sugar
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1/4 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
Beat the butter until smooth and creamy.
Gradually add powdered sugar and cocoa powder, mixing well after each addition.
Slowly add milk to reach the desired consistency, then mix in vanilla extract.
Frost the cooled cake layers, covering the top and sides evenly.
