Banana Cake Recipe

Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch pan.
In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
In another bowl, beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in mashed bananas and vanilla extract.
Gradually add the dry ingredients, alternating with buttermilk, mixing until smooth.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Cream Cheese Frosting:
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
8 oz cream cheese, softened
3-4 cups powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
Beat the butter and cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
Gradually add powdered sugar, one cup at a time, mixing well after each addition.
Stir in vanilla extract until fully combined.
Spread the frosting evenly over the cooled banana cake.
